Billy Oatman aka Billy O began bowling at the young age of 6
years old. The score of his first game was 84. He bowled his
first 200 game at the age of 10. By the time he was 13 years
old he was bowling in Junior tournaments and traveling the
Midwest for scratch tournaments. In high school he anchored his
high school bowling team. He began bowling in adult leagues in
high school. He earned scholarship money for college
Billy O college years were spent at Vincennes University and
Wichita State University. While attending college he was a
member of the NJCAA National Championship Team, Varsity Bowling
Team and the NCAA Bowling Championship Team.
After college Billy O began traveling all over the United
States bowling in handicap and scratch tournaments. Billy has
over 60 300 games and 25 800 series.
Billy Oatman is keen on fundamentals. He has worked hard to
become a great bowler. Hes won many titles and championships.
As long as no one or nothing stands in his way he will succeed
on the Professional Bowling Tour.
He
joined the PBA in May 2006. During the PBA tour trials Billy
O averaged 250 for 9 games! He had 452 pins over 200, the
highest Squad leader of the entire tour trials!
On September 11, 2006
Billy became Exempt for the 2006/07 PBA season.
